Wendell H. Froling, enroute to duty as executive officer of the U.S. Naval Air Station, Port Lyautey, Morocco; his wife, the former Catherin Kohlhoff of Coronado, their small child, and Lt. Bush H. This was the highlight revealed Monday noon at a luncheon tendered to some 25 members of the Coronado Realty Board at the El Cordova, by M. Bert Fisher, Los Angeles co-owner of the extensive acreage to be developed here early next year, along with Herman Miller also of Los Angeles, and Robert A. Nordblom, New York and Boston financier.Following his introduction by Nathaniel Gardner, realty board president, Fisher in turn introduced his son-in-law, Victor Selton, and Paul Miller, son of his associate, Mr. Miller. E. J. MacGregor of Coronado, was presented the Legion of Merit award by Rear Adra. L. T.DuBose, commanding the First Task Fleet, in recent ceremonies held in the bay aboard the U.S.S. Curtiss, fleet flagship.Comdr. MacGregor already has been awarded the Navy Cross, the British Distinguished Cross and many others, for his impressive war record as commander of several submarines on patrols in enemy waters. His great grand-uncle was Rear Adm. J. L. Worden, USN, who commanded the U.S;S. Monitor in its historic battle with the Confederate navy’s ‘‘Merrimac” during the Civil War.Comdr.
