Mr. Henry T. Murphy Dies At Home Near Autreyville Monday Morning—4Mr. Henry T. Murphy, one of the pioneer citizens of Southern Colquitt county, died at his home near Autreyville Monday of this week at 12 o'clock, at the ripe old age of nearly 83, having been born on December 29, 1850. He was born and reared in Colquitt county, and had made his home in that section all of his life.He had been in very feeble health for several years, having ieen confined to his bed for over a year. He seemed to be about as Well as usual until last Saturda/, when he took a turn f^r thi worse, gradually sinking^ uptil he passed out Monday!He wksi married in 1874 to Miss SaMh Jane Smith, who died about seven years ago. Surviving him are nine children: Messrs. Oscar, Walter, Iverson, Dock, Hugh, and Elie Murphy, Mrs. Della Brinson, Mrs. Lota Lawton and Miss Ella Murphy; also eleven grandchildren and One great-grandchild.Mr. Murphy had been a member of the Enon Baptist church for many years, and the funeral was held at that church Tues-tday morning, interment being in the cemetery at that place. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Baldwin, of MurphyStation.
