Farewell Surprise.Commodore Fink and wife planned and carried out an enjoyable surprise Sunday, in honor of their son. Dr, O, E. Fink, of Terre Haute. Dr. Fink will leave Saturday, for Greenville, South Carolina, to serve his country as captain of the Medical Corps.Everyone took well filled baskets and there was everything good to eat including war bread, i Dinner was served dairy lunch style. After dinner the time was spent in music and talking of old times.The guests left late in the evening wishing the Doctor good luck in doing his bit in helping to can the Kaiser.Those present were, Dr. O. E. Fink, wife and son Robert, of Terre Haute; Cyrus Fink, Willard Fink, Edison Fink and their families. Kate Fink and Harry Fagan all of Yountsville; F'rank Boraker and son Walter of Wesley; Arthur Henderson and family, Mrs. Ida Lowe of Waynetown; Otha Clore and family of Wayeland; Vora Everson and family of Lapland; Oscar Stout and wife, Walter Stout and family, John W. Stout, wife and Mrs. Addie Vanscoyc and son Byron of CraWfordsville; Mrs. Elbert Ammerman of Oklahoma; Mrs. Roscoe Elmore and children of Alamo; Wilson Faustand family, Jules LePage and wife, Leon LePage and family and Mrs. Margaret Alexander.
