Mrs. Grace Leota Brown* Isenberg, daughter of Samuel H. and Charlotte Price Brown, was born in Mason City, Illinois, on April 12 1895. All of her early life was spent in Mason City Community.She was united in marriage to William Isenberg of Manito 011 July 1, 1913. Mr. and Mrs. Isenberg have resided in Manito all of their married life.Mrs. Isenberg was stricken with a severe heart attack early on the morning of August 12, 1953 and died a few minutes after entering Pekin Public Hospital.She is servived by her husband William; three sons — M-Sgt. John Isenberg, who is with the United States Army in Japan; Robert Isenberg and Richard Isenberg both of Pekin. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 sister, 1 half-brother and 1 half-sister. One daughter, Evelyn, preceded her mother in death several years ago.Mrs. Isenberg was a member of the Manito Methodist Church and the Manito Camp of Royal Neighbors of America.Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Funeral Home with Joseph W. Hobbs and Rev. D. J. Powell officiating. Burial was in Meadow Lawn Cemetery.The soloist was Betty Smith accompanied by Mrs. Pearl Lee.Pallbearers were James Seelye, Charles Hoffman, C. A. Beebe, Wilbert Hill, Melvin Meyer and Earl Palmer.
