Dies From Poisoning.Mrs. Anna Drane, of Indianapolis, and formerly of this ! place, died at her home about 7:00 1 o’clock Saturday eveniny from Ptomaine poisoning the result of eating canned tongue. She was taken ill shortly after eating the ' meat and death resulted' a short time later.Deceased was a niece of Mrs. Anna Martin, John Wright and Chet Wright, of this City. Besides these relatives she leaves one son, Charles Rodney, her father and mother and many other relatives and friends.Funeral services were held at Indianapolis and interment was in the Peru Cemetery, Tuesday. A short service was held in Peru Rev. Harry Nyce, Presbyterian Minister officiating.
