Contest Starts Sunday Night at Day's Casino. Early entries indicate that more than twenty-five couples will com pete in the marathon dance to be held at Day's Casino, Emerson and Southeastern Aves., beginning at 9 p. m. Sunday, the promoters an nounced today. Music will be fur nished by Duvalles Black Birds. Vernon E. Hopper and Josephine Sidener of Danville, Ill., will make the trip to Indianapolis by airplane to compete in the contest, accord ing to Floyd B. Youngblood, repre senting the promoters. William McMahon and Florence Henshee are to motor to Indianapolis from Danville, Ill., to compete. The prizes of $200 for first place, $100 for second, $75 for third, $50 for fourth and $25 for fifth place plus a bonus of 5 percent of the gate receipts have attracted entries from nine cities. Aug. 11.— Death of Jack Schumaker, 2, Fri day night as a result of injuries suffered a week ago when struck by an auto raised the total of street accident fatalities here for the year to twenty-four.
