The li-cense cost $1.00, board $1,25 and as he said: 4‘five cento baceo.” He seemed to take it all as a big joke and after taking a squint look at the weather indications, shouldered up his grips, which weighed about 85 or 100 pounds and started off for another half day’s tramp. He was so good natured about it all we cannot help wishing he had been more successful.One Hundred and Fifty Conversions and Reclamations.The protracted riieeting at the Methodist church closed last Wednesday night with about 150 conversions and reclamations. Evangelist Newsome and wife left Tuesday evening for a short visit to his mother who lives near Oklahoma City after which he will engage in a meeting at Stillwell. Never in the history of Muldrow had so much interest and work accomplished as was done at this meeting. Rev. Newsome was here only about two weeks, but in that time he stirred the people up and got them thinking along lines a big majority had neverconsidered worthy of a thought. We understand Rev.
