GRABILL BOY HASHARROW ESCAPELast Tuesday afternoon while » sitting in making hay on the L. H. Hu rah farm about four miles north* oast of Grabill, John, eldest sou of G. F. Marfcl*. had a vary narrow escape from instant death, whan a thrse*tine pitchfork fell from the t barn loft, striking him on the bend. The center tine of the fork being broken, the one outside tine pene* I trated one side of the boy's heed eloee to the skull, while the other tine just grated hie hat. U required the assistance of a fellow labor* er to extricate the tine from it* po* t sition. The boy seems no worse i for his experience.
