FORTY YEARS AGO April 29,1943A few of the original settlers of Edmonds gathered at the home of Mrs. Emma Heberlein on Saturday evening to renew memories of early days. All were very young on their arrival here, especially Fannie Brackett Sill. Those present were Guy Street (1886) and Mrs. Street, Addie Bristol Woodman (1889) and Mr. Woodman, Anna Sorensen (1889), Anne Brown (1889), Carrie Yost Astell (1891), Annie Deiner Quinn (1883), Fannie Brackett Sill, Oscar Deiner (1882) and Mrs. Dein* er, Emma Roscoe Heberlein (1888), and Reuben T. Roscoe (1888).Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Notar, Miss Beth Notar, Don Meyring and Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Case went to Seattle on Easter to be present for the traditional family dinner that Mrs. Notar’s and Mrs. Case’s mother, Mrs. Lucas Notar, gave at her home.
