Misses Ruth and Edna _ Ledger wood spent Saturday night with Ava Ledgerwood. Jake Resler and family of Bell view visited A. D. Bechtel Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Osborn spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor. Charles Moody of Clay City vis ited Saturday night and Sunday at Ab Stickels. Florence Richardson spent Sun day night at Jacob Bechtel’s. Miss Eva Miller visited her sister, Mrs. Henry Sipes Saturday night. Raymond Sipes spent Sunday with George Stickels. Misses Dick Dalton and Florence Richardson visited Mr. and Mrs. Ol Taylor Sunday. A surprise party was given for Homer Mowery at his home Satur day night. Those present were the Misses Eva and Mabel Miller Ruth and Edna Ledgerwood, Gene vieve Ward, Hazel McCallian, Ava Ledgerwood, Inez Kinnaman, Florence Stickels and Messrs Russell Taylor, Russell Ward, Russell McCallian, Hobart and John Fisher, Dewey Flinn, Densel McCarter, Sherman and George Stickels, Charles Moody and Mearl Gray. The evening was spent in playing games and music and an enjoyable time was spent by all.
