CORN ISH-JONES NuptialsAn afternoon wedding in Newton-ville United Church, Saturday, April 7th, 1956 united Euldyne Fae Jones, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Willis H. Jones, Newton ville and Carman Lloyd Cornish, son of Mrs, Annie Cornish and the late John J, Cornish, Orono^The Reverend S, J. Pike officiated with Mrs, Frank Gilmer playing the wedding music and Mr, Lloyd Stinson, Cobourg, sang “Because” and '“The Wedding Prayer,”The bride was given in marriage ’by her father. Her gown was styled in heavy satin with lily point sleeves and V shaped clusters of seed pearls. The form fitting bodice had a full bouffant skirt with seed pearl trim^ A crown shaped headpiece of seed pearls held a softly caught veil of tulle illusion gracefully scattered with rhinestones and seed pearls. She carried a white testament with a white ■orchid and streamers of white steph-antis.Mrs. Ronald Rathbmi, Trenton act-ed as matron of honour and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Gordon Shantz, R.N., Kingston and MissJeanne Bell, R^N., Lindsay. The attendants were gowned alike in acacia yellow brocaded chrdmespun taffeta styled in princess line with V neck and cocktail length. Matching mo-haiir headpieces formed their headdress and they carried a cascade of mauve chrysanthemumus with yellow stephanotis.Mr. Roy C. Forrester, Orono was best man and Mr. S. M Jones, Mon-treal, Que,, brother of the bride and Mr, Douglas McGee, Toronto, ushered,A reception was held in the Sunday School Hall. To receive, the bride’s mother wore cannaught green satin with champagne accessories and a corsage of tawny roses^ The bridegroom’s mother assisted wearing allegro blue satin backed acetate with pink accessories and a corsage of pink Sweetheart roses^The honeymoon was spent in the Mid Eastern States. For travel the • bride chose a navy blue ensemble with white trim with navy -tambourine style hat and matching accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Cornish are making(Contimiad page 4)
