[INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVICE1LONDON, Apil 2.—Vice Admiral Sir Michael Culme Seymour died here today. He had been second Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Personnel since last year.He was promoted from captain to rear admiral in 1916 and to vice admiral in 1920. He served in thebattle of Jutland in 191G, the onebig sea engagement of the war. and was mentioned in despatches.After the war, Sir Michael wasassigned to the command of the Black Sea and Captain squadron and thence to second in-command in the Mediterranean in 1920. He was Commander-In-Chief of the North American pwl West Indies station before being made chief of navalpersonnel.
