Yeats of the Department of Geosciences at Texas Tech, at a meeting of the Lubbock Gem and Mineral Society, at 7:30 p.m. Tues day in Precinct 1 Park Clubhouse, 5012 W. 50th. St. Yeats was a member of the party on the recent scientific re search trip to Antarctica, which was led by Dr. Alton Wade, head of the Department of Geosciences at Texas Tech. All visitors and residents of the Lubbock area are invited to at tend. Refreshments will be served and a door prize will be awarded. W. E. Foster, Rt. 1. Ropesville, ‘club president, and Pat Lo Cascio, Lubbock will represent the Lub bock Society at the annual Texas Federation’: of Mineral Societies Show at the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo, May 3 through 5.
