WEOLpromotesnewsmanNicole WaksmundsWThe Chronide-Telegram_ELYRIA — The news director of WEOL 930-AM has been tapped to become the station’s new operations manager.Craig Adams, a graduate of Baldwin-Wallaee College, will hang on to the duties of news director with his new responsibilities.Adams has worked for the Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting Co., which owns the station, for most of the last 14 years. Adams previously served as the assistant news director at WERE radio in Cleveland and as an assignment editor at WJW-TV in Cleveland.He has won numerous awards from The Associated Press and The Cleveland Press Club and is former president of The Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters.Also promoted was Bruce Van Dyke, the station’s public relations director, who will become the assistant operations manager. He also will continue as public relations director.Van Dyke graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College and has worked for the Elyria-Lorain Broadcasting Co. for u years.See WEOL, C2
