Four New Radiof ITowers Go UphscVaoA program to increase the Ftransmitting power from 1.000 to E5.000 watts day and nigfit. is tak-joing shape with the erection of n four npw towers by Radio Station WH1S at its Harry Heights transmitter. F»at Flanagan, chief engineer. said yesterday.When completed, the four towers will reach a height, of 200 feet and will replace the old tower. FlanaRan said. One of the 1towers has already been built to a height of 60 feet. FThe present 1.000 watt trans- l-mitter will also be replaced by a5.000 watt set. 'n Flanagan said he hopea to havethe work completed by July 15.when rhe signal of the station will be more than doubled throughout tthis area. The new power will also sextend the station's coverage.
