This is their first visit to Mac-Mahan.Rev. and Mrs. George St. John Rath-bun and daughter, Miss Mary C. Rath-bun, of Detroit, Mioh., left yesterday and MacMahan was indeed sorry to see them go. Mr. Rathbun conducted the services at St. Cuthbert's chapel last month much to the pleasure of the congregation. Miss Rathbun deserved credit for her enthusiasm and success as a member of the Entertainment committee of the Cottagers’ Association.Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Sauerbrey, of New Rochelle, N. Y., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Terry, of Larchmont, N. Y., were week end guests at the Seal and Porpoise, while visiting their children at Camps Allenook and Allenoll.Miss Alice D. Snyder, professor of English at Vassar college in Poughkeepsie. N. Y„ arrived yesterday for a visit with her brother, Prof. Edward D. Snyder, and his family at the Allen cottage.Miss Mary Alison Beatty, of Meriom, Penna., who was visiting Miss Carol Snyder, of Haverford. Penna., left last Saturday to visit other friends down east before returning to her home.John K. Dec and young brother, Horace, left Monday for their home in Bryn Mawr, Penna. They had been here j I for a week, staying at their grand- f mother's cottage on Fox Island.With much surprise. MacMahan greeted Mrs. Charles Y.
