Orono Park Board Votes To Close Park And Pool
The Orono Park Board unanimously approves closing Orono Park and its swimming pool until a water-supply dispute with Crono Police Trustees is resolved. The move follows charges that the trustees refused water for 1968 and cites municipal charges for water and frontage. The board plans to send copies of the motion to trustees and township council and seeks a meeting to resolve the matter.
