May Day in Kendal and Centennial celebration
Last year on May Day Kendal held a Centennial celebration with five flocks of geese and a May Pole dance while the PTA provided lunch for the children. This week a goose flew low over Kendal and a well drill moved to Bill Stapleton’s lot. The realignment committee of Kendal church gathered in Trinity United Bowmanville with Roy Mercer Len Falls and Miss C Stewart. Kendal Shiloh Newtonville attendance averages are 35 35 and 75 respectively. Headquarters suggests a minister can serve 250 households and asks if people want church and Sunday School.
