Organizer Mr. Brown of the Bowmanville Kinsmen Club reports 237 entrants for Snowmerle races at Mosport with speeds under 60 mph due to wet track. event yielded a profit. Two Sunday traffic crashes on Highway 35 near Kirby caused injuries to David Jubb of Oshawa and vehicles sustaining damages of 700 and 1000 dollars. A second Downsview car caused about 350 dollars in damage. Newcastle’s new Provincial Police Station opened last Saturday with furnishings moved in midweek.
