The Church In Our Time Sermon by Rev N T Holmes
A Harmony United Church sermon on the unity of Orono and Leskard congregations. It defines the church as both building and people, a place of worship and work, where Christ presence is found, not merely a venue for rites, but a living fellowship seeking God.

Ottawa report from Russell C. Honey M.P. Durham notes two key bills introduced this week. The Health Resources Fund aims to back a national Medicare program by creating a 500 million dollar fund over fifteen years to support training and facilities. The Canada Assistance Plan coordinates public aid, expands benefits for mothers, the elderly, disabled, and widows, and uses a needs based test rather than income and assets.
