Happy Babe driven by Keith West won the Peterboro invitational trot in 2 16.1 over Bay State Theresa earning about 9.40. The year’s fifth win for Happy Babe comes as Bay State Theresa challenged late. Happy Babe led from the start with Mary Jane P winning heat races by Mary Preston of Norwood. Other local horses Meadowview Champ Mea dow Bob Ross Brown Roger Boy and London Meet Flash Riddell also ran in nearby races at Peterborough and London Ontario.
