Kendal Notes Show Local Visits Games and Church Events
Community members visit relatives and friends in Kendal with several weekend gatherings. A Kendal men’s softball team forms as Kendal hosts Pelicans Tuesday night. Local church events include the Sunday School Anniversary with Rev. Thomas Wallace and performances by the Newcastle quartet, plus remarks on the Bay of Quinte Conference by Rev. H. A. Bunt and a reflection on Coventry England’s Leslie Cook address. The town previews beautification efforts as brick siding goes up on Langstaffe and other homes are painted.
