Improvements At Local Arena Put Association In The Red

Renovations at the Oren Arena were completed with about 100 dollars raised for funds and 300 to 1000 dollars still needed. The updated seating includes reserve sections with back rests and enhanced safety, two ticket wickets and new dressing rooms above the seating areas. Modern amenities, restrooms and sanitary facilities accompany expanded spectator areas for hockey and skating events.

The Orono Junior Hockey Club believes the upcoming season will be strong with teams from Weston Uxbridge Sutten Aurora Unionville and Orono.
