The 5th annual Red Cross Bazaar in Orono raised 242 dollars at the town hall on Saturday December 11. The event featured home cooking farm produce a children’s pond prize booth and various booths including school fancy work and apron. Prizes were awarded to Frank Hall James Moffat Mrs James Moffat Mrs A E West with leftovers displayed at Dean's Bake Shop. A community effort supported by donors buyers and volunteers.

Durham County Plowmen Hold Annual Meeting
Fire early Wednesday evening nearly destroyed the home of Miss Ednah Stutt in Orone south, rented by Mr and Mrs James Stevenson.
