Community Telephone debentures raise 300000 in Ontario
Community Telephone Co. Ltd of Dunnville successfully sold 300000 in debentures on the open bond market with over-subscription at 700000. Underwriters Ord Wallington report ten year debentures with warrants convertible to shares at 3, 4, and 5 dollars. funds will finance plant actions and dial conversion across seven companies including New Union Telephone Co. The firm projects rising profits and subscribers as conversion moves toward 1964 and beyond.
