A northbound vehicle struck Hileen Warman, twelve, daughter of Oswald Warman, herdman for BH. HH. Bull & Son, as she was near the centre road after the driver left Mr Ellery Brownridge's car. The incident occurred Tuesday evening around dusk with serious injuries reported.

The barn of farmer George Young in Caledon township burned on Monday night around 1 o'clock after a fierce electrical storm. Lightning struck the structure, quickly enveloping the roof in flames and leading to the barn’s total loss. Elsewhere, Meay Reskweld fell ill at Rookwood Public School and Orville Duffield faced a severe infantile illness. health authorities reported measures to prevent spread and noted the Duffield case as a rare Ontario occurrence.
