Over 2000 attendees enjoyed excellent sunshine as the Georgetown Fair celebrated its 97th year with hall and field exhibits. Livestock judging drew crowds while the Georgetown Girly Pipe Band opened and closed the event. The Blood Donor Clinic, knitting club displays, and Girls Garden Brigade showcased community efforts as crowds steered toward a lively friday night dance and midways.
