J F Little returns after illness with his condition gasping. Crown Attorney Dick and daughters Edith and Kathleen return from Franceville Ontario. Russell Deforest pays fine and costs to avoid jail and is released. C N Bastedo, 76, struck by car on Roxborough Street, taken to General Hospital with skull fracture and serious condition. Bastedo hails from Milton and is brother of Miss B H E Bastedo and Mrs W B McCready.
William Thompson died in Guelph at age 83. Born in England he moved to Halton as a child and was a millwright with the Norval Mill. He later relocated to Guelph two years ago and is survived by his widow Harriet Mille and five children living in Ontario, Toronto, and New York. He was a Methodist and a Liberal.
