Raiders Plan Old Timer Exhibition With NHL Greats
A list of fifty five former Georgetown Raider players is used to form an Old Timer Team for an exhibition game against NHL Oldtimers. The event will be sandwiched between two hockey school weeks in early October with several former Raider stars already agreeing to play. Two NHL Old Timers Bob Goldham and Mizrey Keerd are also sought to join the squad.

Georgetown led early 2-1 after one and 4-3 after two, but Milton moved ahead 7-4 before Georgetown struck back. Gloria Zilio pitched for Georgetown with Les Quackenbush catching, as the locals added their 11th and 12th runs in the sixth and fifth frames respectively. Milton’s Bridgeman, W Schicht and P D Duncan led the defense and Marsh hit the only homer. A large crowd saw the game in cold conditions. game two was expected tonight at Hornby.
