An architect reported the arena roof, built 50 years ago, remains standing with sivel trusses in good condition but timber members overstressed. 300 steel channels were added to meet 1970 standards, insulation will trim ice time and reduce costs, and concrete wall cracks plus side roof sections were strengthened. Public use of Rose Room exits restored to fire code. fundraising planned through December with arena renovations to begin January 3, 1977.
