Ontario counties will not be disbanded says minister

Erin Township Auditor Finds No Dishonesty After Six Year Review
Mr Brock of Kitchener conducted a six year special audit of Erin Township Council and reported to the council on Monday November 14. He found no evidence of dishonesty by officials though irregularities existed in bookkeeping. Reeve McFee says the audit was justified to clear suspicions among ratepayers and notes the audit was petitioned by ratepayers.

Ashgrove Women's Institute Holds November Meeting
The Ashgrove WI met on November 15 at Mrs. T. Fisher's home with strong attendance. Mrs. M. Bird gave the motto Manners make the man and Mrs. F. Ruddell presented a paper on Manners. Mrs. Brigden read a story and a demo on Introductions followed. The bureau offered witty and thoughtful questions. Mrs. Wilson and Miss I. Wrigglesworth performed a lively piano duet. A social half hour concluded the meeting.

Historic St. Peters Church Reopened at Trafalgar
St Peters Roman Catholic Church at Trafalgar reopened after years closed. Rt Rev Monsignor Ghel represented the Hamilton diocese at the ceremony with Rev Father McBride preaching on the priesthood of Christ. The historic church traces to 1818 with Mass first held in 1819 and a log building later replaced by brick.
