The Palette and Pencil Club hosts a two day art show at the Halton Hills Georgetown public library on Nov 22 and 23 from 1 to 9 pm. The Royal Winter Fair rye and preserve championships were won by Mrs Walter Norrington and her husband, both Milton area exhibitors, continuing a 38 year showing tradition. The Georgetown Volunteer Ambulance Service hosts its annual dinner dance on Nov 25 at 6:30 pm at St George's Anglican Church Hall on Guelph Street.
