Brampton Man Charged With Assault
Walter D. Haiste a 30 year old Brampton man was charged with assault after police arrested him Sunday afternoon following reports he had lured two young girls along the CNR track near the station. The girls were unharmed. Haiste is jailed in Milton and due in court here Wednesday afternoon.

Four Dogs Poisoned in Church Street Neighbourhood

Rev W McCleary of the Upper Canada Bible Society addressed Georgetown’s Bible Society meeting in the Baptist Church basement. Dr Watson retired after 33 years as secretary. Wat son Winfield was elected secretary treasurer and Dr Watson named honorary president. An illustrated address on The Bible in a warring world followed the business session.

Remembrance Day Service Honours Two Wars in Georgetown
A large crowd gathered at the Cenotaph for Remembrance Day as Georgetown paid tribute to those who died in the Great War and World War II. The parade featured the Lome Scots Band and Girl's Pipe Band, with Lt. Col. G. B. 8. Cousens as marshal. Mayor Harold Cleave opened the service led by Pastor Ostrom.
