Funeral Yesterday For Mrs. Ted Ewing
Mrs. Ed win Ewing died after a lengthy illness in Guelph General Hospital on Saturday October 20. Born Laura Mae Gilman fifty five years ago at Humber Bay she was the daughter of the late William Gilman and Laura Tews. She married Edwin Ewing twenty nine years ago and lived in Toronto Glen Williams and finally Georgetown. Survived by her husband two sisters and one brother she was predeceased by three sisters and a brother. Archdeacon Thompson conducted the funeral service on Tuesday with interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers named.

Funeral at Orillia for Georgetown Man
A funeral service was held in Orillia on Tuesday October 18 for Hume Frederick Nickerson who died at his Georgetown home the previous Sunday. Interment followed in St George's Cemetery North Orillia. Nickerson 61 was born in Parry Sound a carpenter by trade who lived in many places in the United States and Canada before moving to Georgetown a year ago from Sparrow Lake. He lived on Victoria Street in the house formerly owned by W J Bell. He married Virgie Johnston in 1947 who predeceased him fifteen years ago. Surviving are four children Irene Boyd Ben Georg town Ivan and Mae Higgs.
