Palermo Juniors captured the W. L. Dick Trophy at the Halton Juniors Drama Festival held in Milton High School auditorium. Acton Milton and Palermo groups performed with The Valiant and earned praise for high calibre acting. Georgetown youths won the final round of Halton Presbytery Dramatic Contest held in Carlisle. Milton social fete marks 37th anniversary at Scott home
The thirty seventh anniversary of a Scottish social was celebrated in Milton on March 12 1901 at Mrs E Sargeants with former attendees including Miss E Dewar pianist Mrs M Mitchell and M E Nikon. A Milton man suffered a knee injury Friday when a motor throttle jammed during a return trip to the east end. 30 stitches were needed. Mrs Hamilton North daughter of late Mr and Mrs Joseph Smith of Omagh died in Detroit Michigan on March 6 with interment in Detroit March 9.

Trish Supper Largely Attended at Presbyterian Church
A large Monday evening Trish supper at the Presbyterian church drew a grateful crowd. The program featured choir numbers under Mr. B. T. Param and community singing. Vocal solos by Miss Doris and Mr. Faram, a violin duet by Param and Wm. Young, and instrumental pieces by Clair en saw and others. The Sunday school room, recently redecorated, was praised for its beauty.
