New Water Hook-up Levy Set for New Homes
The town council approved a water hook-up charge for new homes. The fee at application is 80 dollars with rising costs for service size. A 640 dollar charge applies for a 3 inch service, 40 dollars for a 1 inch, plus labor and 10 percent for larger commercial connections. Water chairman Stan Allen introduced the measure after the water committee's review.
