Thirty one euchre tables lined the center as members and veterans enjoyed cake flowers and candles. Louise Clark spoke on the order origin and teachings before lunch. Four Generations Attend Herringtons Birthday Party
On Tuesday March 4th about twenty family members gathered at the home of Mr and Mrs to honor George Herrington on his 70th birthday. A poem praised the honored father and grandfather as four generations, with gifts including a Kroehler walnut chair from Mr Bruce Kennedy. Attendees included George Herrington Corey Herrington Mrs John McMullen and Master Eddie McMullen of Acton.

Limehouse Resident James Grant Dies at 84
Limehouse lost a respected citizen on Monday March 3 as James Fraser Grant died at his daughter William Mitchell's home after a short illness. Born near Acton, he lived much of his life in Esquesing Township and was active in Limehouse Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Limehouse cemetery after a funeral at 2 pm on March 5 conducted by Rev. D D Davidson. Many floral tributes accompanied the service.
