Catherine Mufnereon died at her home in Inverholme Norval on Sunday February 23 after a lengthy illness. She was the fourth daughter of the Lita family, born in Norval, attended local schools, and spent years in Toronto. She belonged to the Harvestian church. The funeral service, largely attended, was held on Wednesday February 28 conducted by Reverend KE and assisted by Reverend MacKinnon and Reverend A. A. Laing of Linwood. Bearers were Col. A. L. Noble J. H. Yarnhill and Mr. Joseph Munster of Norval.
