Tragedy Ends Village Celebrations at Norval
A two year old, Tommy Robitaille, drowned in the swollen Credit River near Willow Park after wandering toward the water during Centennial festivities. Rescue efforts failed. he was found an hour later and pronounced dead at hospital. Funeral held in Espanola with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. The drowning follows other June fatalities in Georgetown area.
