Prisoner Escapes Milton Jail During Night Break
William Moore, awaiting trial on four forgery charges, escaped Milton County Jail at about 3 a.m. Monday by jimmying a cell door and scaling the wall. A full search across Toronto and Hamilton areas continues with police noting no trace and Moore possibly far from Milton. Moore had prior sentences for obtaining money under false pretenses and issuing worthless checks, with other charges.
