Tindale X Bas. Lucile from Maurice O Beaty Milton brought 625. Gerald R Graham's Royalist Lucinda sold for 500. Two Beaty and MacClure Bros calves each 300, with proceeds donated to the Navy League of Canada. Eleven calves were donated and bought by W W Naylor Ontario California.

Francis Edgar Teddy Erwin died Sunday morning May 27 in his 70th year after long illness. He lived on the Erwin farm on Main Street North Georgetown with his brother Fred. He was a Georgetown United Church member, a Conservative, a former Georgetown Arena Company president, and active in the Carling Club. Surviving are Robert H. Erwin Georgetown Charles Erwin East Rochester NY Fred of Toronto and others. Funeral services were held at his residence Tuesday May 20, Rev R O Todd officiating. Pallbearers were Melam Harold Cleave Percy Cleave Richard Grace Reuben Eason Alex McKay W G Marshall. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
