Toronto Juveniles Held in Brampton Robbery Case
Two Toronto youths were picked up by Brampton Police early Saturday after reports of a local robbery at the CNR station. They were taken to their homes with parents, ordered to appear for trial on June 10. Miss Etta Claridge Passes Away at Home
Miss Etta Claridge died last Sunday morning at her home on Charlie Street after illness of several months. She was born in Esquesing Township to Jeremiah Claridge and Mary Graham and lived in the community most of her life. She helped run the millinery business with sisters Jennie and Rosella on Main Street above the Herald Office. Active in the Congregational Church, she later joined the United Presbyterian Church. Survived by Mrs J Moore and Miss Claridge of Georgetown and Wilson of Vancouver, BC. Funeral services were held at the Graham residence with Dr. P. R. Watson and others. interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown.

Mrs Mark Maw of Georgetown died suddenly in Brampton on Thursday after a heart attack. Born Mary Ann Collier in Garafraza Township about 68 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs William Hammond. Survived by a daughter and two sons, services held at Maple Avenue home with Rev W G Thompson officiating. Pallbearers listed from Georgetown and Guelph areas.
