Roy Peck son of LR and was trained on the ROWVR. He served on a Norwegian crossing in a 8300 ton submarine involved in a convoy battle. The convoy suffered heavy losses but Peck's ship reached port after six weeks at sea and three weeks in dry dock. He praises the Norwegian crew and captain for safety. Accident on Paper Mill Road Leaves Farm Hand Injured
Cobb, a farm hand for John Dengham of the 16th line, was badly injured Saturday after his bicycle collided with a cart at the Paper Mill Road crossing near 8 oenrd. Collision on No 7 highway injures two drivers and passenger
