Lions Club plans bicycle racks on Main Street
Lions Club discussed plans to install two bicycle racks on Main Street at Monday meeting in McGibbon. Racks will be painted orange and blue club colours. Members Lorne Peters and Ray Whitmee reported on the Windsor convention and a band stand project was discussed for either the Club lot on Water Street or the park.

The Women’s Mission Circle of Georgetown Baptist Church held its annual picnic on July 8 at Miss B Whitney’s home. Brampton Circle guests led the program with devotional reading solos and a mission talk by Rev. E H Cameron. Forty ladies attended and enjoyed a picnic supper before returning home.

Conditions for fly fishing have been ideal with dry weather and low water. Anglers report abundant brown trout in local streams and productive results from dry patterns.
