Orck Shatte, longtime Argo fullback and former captain, loaned from Canada Dry as special representative, will visit Georgetown Feb 28 to kick off the annual Red Cross fundraising campaign. He has led Red Cross campaigns for two years, lecturing clubs and service groups, and serves as North York YMCA director. Shatto, a Kentucky alumnus with a wife and four children, heads the Ontario division campaign for 1962 and 1963.

Plan to Annex Township Land to Include Exquesing Parcel
The Township Council on Monday ordered a by law to annex 16.2 acres of Exquesing Township land owned by Smith and Stone and Meadowglen Grow. Dr Jim Young, planning chair, said firms are in accord and land acquisition should be smooth. Mayor Hyde expects township opposition but with minimal strength since the area is unserviced.
