A January 7 meeting at Wm Trudgeon’s Naseagawaya elected officers including Joseph Harris Town Clerk and Donald Black Assessor with others appointed for road duties. Livestock marks are recorded for several residents. The town voted to meet again at Trudgeon’s house next year.
The Public School Board met on January with members Crichton McNally Edwards Harrison Poully Cleave and others. Harrison was elected chair for 1924. Appointments were set for committees and staff including attendance officer nurse and secretary treasurer. The fall term 1927 report was read and favorable. Sympathy expressed for Mrs Langan. The board approved disbursements and a $10 donation toward three pupils entering the June entrance exam. The board meets the first Wednesday of each month.
The Limehouse group met at Mrs. Robert Brown’s home for December with many members present, a quilted project completed, and supper enjoyed. January's gathering was at Mrs. Smathorst’s, funds sent to Muskoka Hospital, and Mrs. Jos Scott honored with a purse.Dr. Lindeau led a bandaging demonstration at Guild last week.
The Halton Agricultural Society met in Milton on January 6 with strong turnout. Treasurer MacNabb reported the society in flourishing condition as officers for 1923 were elected including A. L. Chambers as First Vice-President and A. L. MacNabb as Secretary-Treasurer. Directors named from Halton Trafalgar Milton and Milton locations. Halton County Fall Fair set for September 28 and 29, 1928.

The resignation of N. Leavens secretary of the Albion and Bolton Agricultural Society at the annual meeting ends a thirty four year service. Appointed in 1804, he helped shape Bolton's fall fair amid his long stewardship. Gerald Garbutt of Trafalgar township, who previously suffered a painful accident, required hospital care for a broken arm again.
