Mrs Burrows Mother of Town Man and Funeral
Lucy Elizabeth Burrows was buried in Brampton Cemetery after a funeral at David A McClure Funeral Home. She died at 10 George Street on Monday. Widow of Fred Burrows she was mother of Harold Duke Kurrows of Galt and Florence of Toronto, with sons Roy Toronto Walter Brampton Jack Brampton and Dave Brampton.

Peel Memorial Plans Physiotherapy Dept At Hospital
Peel Memorial Hospital will create a physiotherapy department for in and out patients. A joint committee led by Walter Misener found a small basement room sufficient and estimated alterations and equipment at 700 to 4000 dollars. The department aims to become self sustaining within months with a part time local physiotherapist at launch.

Jiu Jitsu Classes Expanded in Brampton
Hieart Hansen, an experienced instructor from Denmark, has taught jiu jitsu in Brampton at Oddfellows Hall on Wednesday evenings. After complaints from Brampton Recreation Council, Hansen announces more local pupils may join a new three month course, building on fourteen current students learning self defence and basic gymnastics.
