John Tost won first place in the Best of Twelve Speakers event held February 23 at Stewarttown Public School. Michele Mumby took second. contest judged by Rev. R Scrivens W J Sopinka and Henry Stanley. Grade five and mixed grade participation marked the event with multiple “firsts” including a Grade five winner and two brothers competing. Awards were presented by Alec Dixon Pineview School principal and Dave Bowman with music from Chapel Street Choirs.
