Bill King Dies in Toronto Hospital
William S Billy King 44 longtime Smith and Stone staff member died last Tuesday afternoon at Toronto General Hospital after a stroke. A Georgetown native, he served five years in the ordnance corps during the war and was a sergeant major in campaigns in North Africa and Western Europe. He leaves wife Clarice Morton two daughters and several relatives. Funeral in Ajax with burial at Greenwood Cemetery.

Bread Driver Injured After Gulley Plunge on John Street
John E. Winfield, son of Mr and Mrs Watson Winfield, drove a Brown's Bread truck north on John Street when he blacked out. The vehicle veered into a gulley, stopped by a tree, and rescuers including Chief Roy Haley and Dr Alistair Macintosh freed him. Milton Pontiacs Triumph in Harris Cup Final
