Born in Ireland she came to Canada in 1910 with her husband Boer War veteran Mr Shearer predeceased her in 1918. She leaves four daughters Kathleen King Sadie Louth Edna Jackson and Eileen Carpenter. Reorganized Boys Band Sees Strong Turnout
Thirty eight boys turned out at the band rooms to start the reform of the Boys Band. Master A Perrott and the senior band members attended to register the boys and are hopeful for the band's future. More instruments are needed and the public is urged to donate any usable instruments. A practice is set for next Tuesday inviting all interested boys who did not attend last night.

W. G. Hilliard 47, Toronto street car conductor, died suddenly while visiting a Thornhill store last Tuesday. He was buried in Melville Cemetery on Thursday.
